Chengdu Successfully Granted the Host Right of the 2025 World Games/Samaranch Foundation will strongly support Chengdu to demonstrate the World-Class sport game city
2019-05-09Chengdu was successfully granted the host right of the 2025 World Games on the Wold Games committee joint meeting in the Golden Coast in Australia on May 9th. Contributing on assistance Samaranch Foundation was part of the biding team. The vice president of IOC and the director of Samaranch Foundation Mr. Yu Zaiqing attended this event.
This successful biding of the 2025 World Games shows Cehngdu’s determination and confidence of building a famous sport city and is a significant step toward it. More international elements will merged into Chengdu’s city culture. By hosting international games, Chengdu will be granted more chances to enhance the international influence and expand the international communication and cooperation.
